It would be wonderful if [ quote ] was treated the same as [ q ] (same with the ending tags and other tags) since the full word is used so many other places (phpBB etc).

(Additional spaces were added so that things would display properly.)

Whether it's translated via the display layer or preprocessed during submission of the post would be up to whoever best knows the performance of this environment.
