Seriously, if you're going to remove a post for one reason or another, or somebody asks for an explanation of why the post was removed, please be polite and exercise common courtesy. Sarcasm, condescension and a general air of power tripping superiority are not what I have come to expect from a quality site like Anandtech... or maybe the quality has just deteriorated.

If I wanted to be berated I would get married.

Thank you. (See, it ain't that hard.)

The response seems pretty tame by my standards.

No. If you want citations and references and claim support and evidence and explanations, ask for them in the Garage. Not here. End of the discussion not related to the deal.

Wrong thread Olds. In that one I asked them to stop the off topic discussion and kimchee411 ignored the warning. The one you quoted was the 2nd warning. I didn't even realize it was the same poster until you put this here.

In the thread he's talking about he mentioned obtaining Microsoft certification training materials illegally through torrenting. I removed the post and told him that he should know better and he should. The totality of my PM to him (after quoting his "suggestion") was

"C'mon. Don't go there. You should know better. I deleted it."
