i am currently having 2 80mm 50cfm fans. one at the bottom front blowing air in and the other one exhausting air out under the powersupply.

i am thinking of adding one more fan on top of my case probably 92mm with 60cfm.

i will cut blow holes for all the 3 fans cause the air blowing thru the small vent hole is causing so much noise

should i use the 80mm fans to blow air into my case and the 92mm exhaust air out from the case and one more power supply fan is exhausting air out as well.

so there is 2 fans blow air in and 2 fans blow air out

what do you guys think of this configuration??

any comment??

1st, a question; Do you know if your box is running too hot? Do you want to add fans to just have more, or is there a heat related problem that you want to solve?

2nd group of questions; Are your existing 80mm fans too loud for your taste? If so, why not consider replacing the existing 80mm fans with 120mm Panaflo FBA 12G12L1A 1700rpm 68.9cfm 30dBa fans?

I have recently hung a 120mm Panaflo L1A on the rear of my Evercase 3+2 external ATX medium tower case to replace a high speed Sunon 80mm; my case was punched for an 80mm fan and I couldn't fit a 120mm fan inside (had only 108mm of room inside the back panel). So I hung it outside with a plastic filter assembly to cover it; I install filters on all my boxes. I also fitted the front auxliary fan position with the same 120mm Panaflo to replace the 80mm that was there. I had to do the usual cutting (Dremel tool & electric drill for mounting holes) to fit the larger fans.
I also replaced the PS cooling fan; I used a PC Power & Cooling 'Silencer' 80mm. Now I am tired of hearing the Intel OEM PII heat sink fan!

yeap, the noise i getting to me and i have not much room for a 120mm fan in my case.

i just can put one 80mm fan at the rear and front.

can i change my ps fan to a more powerful fan?? i think i need to solder the wire of the fan right??
