Suggestion for those of us on broadband connections

Instead of limiting the max post views for a topic to 100, why not add an option to list all posts?

It's not a major issue, but it would be much more convenient for the members with a fast connection to be able to view all of the posts to a particular thread in one window, instead of clicking on multiple links. I sort the messages to show the newest posts at the top, and if someone posts to a particularly volatile thread while I'm reading the first page, I sometimes miss a post or two when switching to the second.

What do you think?

my god, i have a university network DSL connection thats really fast, but even at 100 replies, it still takes a long time to load. I cant imagine your speed if you are thinking of loading unlimited replies on one page.

If there were to be a raise of the limit, I could imagine something like 200, but all leaves you open to those damnable 2000 post threads. There's no way I'd want to load all that crap.

It has nothing to do with fusetalk, as data is data it has to do with overloading browsers and tying up database connections.

okay, so now we know it definatly a browser related issure among other things 🙂

I wasn't trying to slam fusetalk, I know how hard you work on it.
