suggestion for polls

I noticed in the "ultimate OT poll" or some such thread that there were about a bazillion individual polls.

Is there a feature such that multiple polls could be answered simultaneously (within the same thread) instead of having to reload the thread over and over every time one of the questions is answered?

i.e. this poll.
is there a way to vote for a and vote for c simultaneously?

edit: I thought I had seen this question asked before... I was looking for the answer, but found nothing using the search for "poll" and "vote"

This would really be great. It's too much trouble to wade through 13985731957 polls using the current scheme. It seems to me that this should be relatively straightforward to implement: just have a single submit button at the bottom that submits all poll results and stores them in the database. This might be better directed to the FuseTalk website suggestions box than here though...

Edit: A problem I see with that is sometimes you don't want to vote for all of the polls, only a few. In your "ultimate poll thread" there are questions that are men only and women only, etc. I would want to answer most, but not all of those polls. How would you do this?

have multiple submit buttons
for example, when setting up a poll (this is probably tricky to code) have the option to add a submit button which would work for all above polls or up to the previous submit button

good point. How about if you submit without actually selecting something, that it defaults to a no-vote, rather than the first answer. ie. the first choice is already selected. Why not leave it unselected by default?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Have a default selection (e.g. "See results") for each poll automatically, then have an overall submit button.
