If fusetalk developers would place filters and ignore lists on that boards themselves.

I'd like to be able to filter and not see topics with certain keywords I provide such as "iraq"

I'd like to be able to filter users. Yes I can ignore their PM's, but I also do not care to see their posts.

If these two objects would be implemented, I'm sold as a subscriber. Until then no sorry.

Actually, yes, I do agree with your idea, btw. It would be nice to filter out all the Iraq and french-bashing threads.

While it may seem like a good suggestion (I agree), in the grand scheme of things it isn't. There really is no way to do it without degrading performance, and quite frankly that is the most important item to consider.

I'm sure the mods and fusetalk don't really care if you subscribe or not

I am sure that Anandtech has a business plan that does not include this attitude.

When Anand was young he did this for fun, it has grown into a business and believe me they would like to have everyone subscribe, this site runs on money not hot air.

Try to imagine reading this thread with any four individuals filtered out. It would be rather surreal to see people arguing with thin air :D and if someone quoted the person you're filtering against, you'd still see what they posted in the quote anyway.

But then no one would read my posts...

Oh, wait, no one reads them anyway. Damn!
