Suggestion for monitor adjustment ?

Got a new 19" LCD monitor - although there are plenty of adjustment controls - can't seem to get the color optimized by using random photos.

Any suggestions on test pattern, images, tools, etc - to help adjust

Nvidia drivers have a "display optimisation wizard". It has testpatterns and other adjustments. Worked really well for my LCD.

Any alternatives for ATI cards? I'm looking for something with like a built-in wizard so I don't have to think too much...

Also, do a google for WiziWYG and you can use it to create a new color profile. It's easy to use and does a nice job of setting up the colors, contrast and brightness, using a wizard.
