i have a box of 300a's i got from back then, not being used. i figure i want build a linux farm with those. might be interesting to just get another cpu and make 4 smp machines.

i havent' been following hardware nor do i remember much from a couple of years ago. any suggestions? just ebay? which would be good?

back then you had to rewire the cpu when trying to do dual celerons. some places sold cards wired already. do the dual socket 370 mobos from back then let you bypass that?

any input would be appreciated.

The best known of the dual socket 370 mbs was the Abit BP6, it supported dual cellys naturally.

If you need slotkets for your dual celeron project I got some NIB MSI-6905s......$6 each plus shipping. :)
