On another VB fourm, they have pics auto re-size and have a bar up top to click on to get the full size pic.

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 800x600

We should have this, no reason not too 🙂

Yea agreed would love to see a [aimg][/aimg] tag for the forum. As some people don't use thumbnails and it throws the layout off when they do it.

It's on the to-do list, guys.

How will it work?

I'm hoping for something like how Firefox handles large images. It shows up fitted to the window, but you can click it to expand it. Then click again to shrink back.

There is a greasemonkey script which does this.

"When images are posted in a vB forum thread which exceed the page width, the layout can get pretty messed up. This script sets a maximum width on the images. The images are shown in their original size when you click on them."

Also, I wanna add. That script I posted is pretty nice, but it would be nice if it had some sort of resized indicator. I think FireFox puts a little icon in the corner of the picture to indicate that it has been resized. If anybody could modify that script, that would be awesome.

The wheels of the gods grind slowly, but they do grind. They have implemented image resizing.
