Suggestings for New Display

I have a previous thread in general hardware discussing my new build, but in a nutshell I want to use my new rig to watch HD movies output to a nice big TV via hdmi. Should I go with Plasma or LCD? What size if any would be the best. I'm thinking this plasma

clearly a distinct size and price difference, but other than that.. the same

plasma vs LCD pros and cons are all over the net,
1. chose the size that suits your room, 40 and 50 is a very big difference
2. do some research on plasma vs lcds. pick the one that suits your needs better
