Suggested CPU for video capture with G450 eTV?

I'm buying an eTV. What speed CPU would you suggest? I was thinking if getting a Duron 750MHz. What difference would I see with a 1.2GHz Athlon instead. Any difference in the timeshifting abilities, or video capture resolution? How much difference?

Thanks,

Konig

PS- I was going to post this message at the Matros forums, but they close them for the weekends. That's lame. Like no one has problems/questions on the weekends...sheesh!

A lot of it depends on what resolution you plan to record videos in. My previous Duron 850 MHz system recorded AVI's and MPEG's fine at 320 x 240 and even 640 x 480. Considering the cheap price of a Athlon 1.2 GHz, you'll be happier in the long run with it and your rendering speeds after editing videos will be much faster than the Duron. I noticed a nice speed boost when switching to a Athlon 1.1 GHz.
