Gametap for no more the $10 a month. There is a PLETHORA of kids games on there. My youngest cannot get enough of all the games is still always on it even after a years time. And I must admit, they got a great selection of games even I like. It does PC and a bunch of older game consoles games, including a C64 ;)

Well worth a peek at for $1 for the first month, or to even check out their free games.

Is she too young for Fable or Bard's Tale? Both of these were ported console games, action-adventure-rpg.

If she already likes Pokemon, times to step her up to the next level of RPG-like games.

Aren't those games rated M?

Oh yeah, the ESRB. I am old enough and never bother to check those rating. That is why I questioned if she was too young. Fable is M, Bard's Tale is T. Although Bard's Tale probably should also be an M.

Ditto the above post about Gametap, but signup for the free account to see if you even like the service, first. Then like he said, $1 for the first month, $10 per month thereafter. After two months you should be able to determine if she (or you ;) is using the service enough to continue to subscribe.

According to the news, the GTA series is the most popular game for 12-14 year olds. It's the most popular game for boys, and second most popular game for girls, behind the Sims.
