suggest me a new 24 inch lcd for christmas

Currently using an Acer 22 inch X223W monitor. Love it but have to return it to my brother. I will be upgrading for christmas, what should I get it? I'm looking for 24 inch, that seems to be the size of choice now as prices have dropped. I game and watch movies so recommend me something solid without breaking the bank. How does this samsung look?

its 5ms, is that too slow? Should I aim for 2ms or does it not matter, remember I game a decent amount
 
I personally don't like gaming at 1920x1080. But for ~$200, I doubt you'll find a 24" with 1920x1200. If you can up it to $300, there's a Samsung 25.5" 1920x1200 that's bouncing around the various hot deals sites this month.
