I need a halfway decent pair of bookshelf speakers. Don't have to be anything incredible. Suggestions are appreciated.

I have a reciever already, got a pioneer sub from a friend. Budget is slim, but I will see how much I have to work with once there is something to take a look at.

Well, AVSforum if you just want to look around at different budgets and suggestions.

It would be a good idea to go out and listen to some different stuff to see what appeals to you.

Is that $150 range kind of what you were thinking of?

Decent could mean $100 to $1000 depending on who you talk to.

Still can't really tell what your budget is from the receiver and sub you mentioned ;)

Sony makes a fairly decent low price bookshelf speaker. For a pair with 5 1/4" woofers will run you $60 or so at Best Buy.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check those out. Prob < 150 is what I'm looking at.
