I am in charge of putting in an order for a couple 19-20'' monitors at work. Though I made an attempt to convince them that 22'' would have been a better value, they don't want the employees having bigger monitors than their boss (wtf, i know). Another thing is that the purchase must be made from an "authorized dealer". While the markup isn't insanely high like at COMPUSSR, their pricing is nothing close to what we get from our usual newegg-like e-tailers. They seem to carry most manufactures I am aware of except doublesight.
Typical work involves looking at graphs, checking email, typing stuff up in Word and preparing presentation slides. TN should more than suffice for these tasks IMO. I did check our own awesome LCD thread, but the recommendations list only has three HP models costing somewhat high for their size (note: they did mention something cheap that works reasonably well).
What other models would work well enough?
