I have considered being a server at a restaurant.. there seems to be potential in making good money.. but I dont know if I would be the type of person who could handle this type of position.. as my people skills are ehhh hehe :frown: I cant seem to think of any other options.. but the most important objective here is making a decent amount while working little hours:)

try private security. from 8-12 an hour and if you get a decent shift you can study while on duty.

That is if you get a decent shift. The pay is good though. It'll be cool if you're doing it and your study load is not that bad.

Try the computer helpdesk. :D

bingo. you can clear $70 to $100 a night in tips, more if you're good. BTW, can anyone say free food at the end of the night?

i'm a bellman at a hotel as my college job, you get above minimum wage plus tips, in the spring/summer and during busy nights, i make anywhere from $40 to $100 a night and average about $35+ a night in tips, even on crappy ones

i work at the front desk of my dorm - sort of like a reception area, and we're not allowed to go over 20 hours a week. we schedule around your school schedule.

starting is 6.88 an hour but it's convenient as i work where i live. i'm the supervisor now so i'm up to 7.98

you can Bartend if you are over 18 right? just can't drink.. =\ good deal tho, can hook up chicks, they get happy, you get em drunk! 3rd vote here!

you can sell your body in other ways than working the street corner..
donate either a) Sperms, or b)Plasma / blood.
unless you are a chick, then you can opt for b.

stripper? Yup, you can make a lot of $$$. Many strippers have told me that ther are liberal arts students... hehe...

There are many jobs with lots of tips: Valet Parking, bellman, waiter at expensive restaurant, etc. (You're a guy, rite?) You can work in the weekend. You can also get a job at school in weekdays, too. Computer lab in Engineering Department is the best place to work. No one bother you all at. Basically, they pay you to do your homework, surfing internet, hehehe...

Depending on your major, you might want to try and get a job at a drug store or in the perscription center at a Kinny's or something. A buddy of mine is a freshman chem e student, and he got a job right off, paying $10.50 and hour, which isn't too shabby.
