Suggest a set of decent car alarm system

So I'm thinking about having a security system installed for my van but have no idea where to look. Can somebody chime in? My car is a 10 year old minivan so I don't think it needs anything super fancy. I've seen security kits for < $100...is any of those good? Or are those more of an annoyance for me?

Also, what kind of equipment would I need to qualify a discount on my auto insurance?

At one point I was shopping around for an aftermarket alarm and decided I didn't want anything much below the $200 mark. My car was 7 years old at the time and had just been broken into. Personally I would want a 2-way alarm that pages you when tripped. Haven't alarm shopped recently so I can't make recommendations.

I found Allstate only offers an insurance discount for factory installed systems, so I was SOL on that. I suggest talking to your insurance agent.
