Dialup.

I live in mid-cities, and have 817 area code.

I currently use Internet America, pay ~$21/mo, and it seems like they just don't give a rat's anymore. I'd like to go cheaper if possible, but not at the expense of a problem ISP.

Of course, AOL will not be considered.

I have heard Everyone's Internet being advertised alot (www.ev1.net). Anyone experienced with them?

I would welcome web sites to check or ngs.

Thanks

Hey Randy...I'm no-where near the Texas area, and we all know Internet service varies greatly, from one area to the next, which makes my suggestion carry less weight than someone in your area, who can suggest a ISP using same area-code as you. Hopefully you'll get some good suggestions.
But, I wanted to throw out Earthlink, I'm very happy with them, very seldom I have problems, and when I did, CS was pretty decent....I've been a subscriber now for at least 6years now and don't have any plans on changing.
EarthLink has received the Highest Ranking in Customer Satisfaction Among Dial-up ISPs and tied in the ranking for Highest Customer Satisfaction Among High-Speed ISPs, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2002....No, I don't work there....just a satisfied customer....check it out.
Good Luck with your search.
