I am in the market for a new PC. I will mostly be playing games. My budget is around $1600. I come to you because I really have no idea what is good. I prefer Nvidia graphics cards but other than that as long as I can play my games well I'll be happy. Thanks for your time. :)

I'm considering building my own. Here's what I have so far LINK

Any suggestions or comments?

I'm still open to buying one pre-built also. Just looking for advice on either.

With that kind of budget, you may be better off building your own.

Personally, I have found that going with a Dell (refurb'd even) and upgrading it to suit your needs can be a good way to go, too. But there are limitations here, proprietary (non-standard size) case/mobo, and lack of cpu overclocking. With your budget, I would recommend a Precision T3500 if this route sounds interesting.

You may want to wait a little while though, as new Intel Core i series cpu's as well as new video cards are all just around the corner. And all seem to be very interesting price-performance wise.

I'd say find a brand you like and buy the most expensive system you can afford... it sounds like you want a good gaming system and unless you are interested in building your own systems save yourself the hassle and get something pre-built. Any of those Cyberpower PC systems would be fine.

Also, you might want to make a "wish list" on Newegg. We can't see what was in your shopping cart at the time you linked it.
