I am building a PC for someone who is interested in d/l'ing and storing alot of data.
so far i have decided on:

2 WD caviar 320GB SATA HDs
2 Gigs (4x512) Rosewill PC3200 RAM
Athlon 64 3000+
An ATI PCi Express Vid Card
(the rest budget, [besides PowerSupply])
---------------------------------------------------
What is a good motherboard around 100-150 that supports these items, and is reliable
I also need to put a video card in for <200 and was thinking an ATI card. I need it to support all these things, and having a wireless feature is helpful, and I would also like onboard sound and dual channel memory (4 slots).

If you need anymore information from me, just let me know.

If all that person needs is storage it looks like you are on the right path, but 2 gigs is unecesarry IMO as 1 gig would be fine. If the person is doing moderate video editing i would add the extra gig. If heavy video editing i would use raided HDD's. But it sound like you may already have listed what this person needs. Be sure to choose a reliable mobo like an Asus or MSI, or Biostar (though cheap they tend to be the most stable of any brand).

Better to get 2 1gig slabs. Read the report on the front page of anandtech.com

but for a board the DFI can;t be beat.

Yeah overall the dfi is a real good board, takes some work tweaking memory settings but once that's done everything's set. But if you don't all the tweaks for overclcoking you could go for a cheaper motherboard like the asus a8n-e or epox 9npa+ ultra or chaintech vnf4 ultra. Just get whatever's cheaper of em.
