Suggest a good PSU ATX12V v2.0 that doesn't use thermal fan control

hey all,
like stated in title, I am looking for another new power supply that is not thermally controlled on the fans.

I have the Antec 480W Neo Power PSU but when I am gaming it constantly speeds up and speeds down and the thermal control of the 120mm fan pisses me off.

It is not noisy, but when the fan speed changes it clues me into the change in noise and its just annoying me

The Seasonic 120mm-fan PSUs are also thermally-controlled but they ramp their RPMs a lot more gradually. You might want to give those a shot.

The Super Tornadoes are single-rail while the S12s are dual-rail. Both are the quietest fan-cooled PSUs you can buy.

HTH.

yeah maybe that will work,
I am trying to keep things quiet with all 120mm fans but,
I would rather have it loud all the time than the PS fan revving up and revving down the fan rpm every couple minutes!

I read a post previously that some psu's have a nob on the back of the psu
Are there any good quality psu's with this on them ?
thanks

The Fortron FSP350-60PN Aurora has a manually-adjustable fan. Reviewed by Silent PC Review HERE. Can't touch a Seasonic Super Tornado though in quietness.

The Antec TrueControl 550 also has manually-adjustable fans, Silent PC Review HERE. Not particularly quiet or cool running though.

Coolmax makes a PSU with a MONSTER 140mm fan and it is also manually-adjustable. I haven't seen any in-depth reviews of this unit though: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-159-030&depa=0

That 140mm fan must vent very well. One of these days I'll have to pick one up for sh!ts and giggles.
