Suggest a Color Laser Printer to me

I get to pick out a color laser printer for my company, and am seeking a few suggestions, as I have kind of been out of the "what's hot in printers" area.

- It is low volume. 1,000 pages per month max
- Printing mostly brochures and such. Mostly vector graphics, rarely photos
- Network ready would be wonderful
- I'm thinking somewhere in the $1,000 range. Probably not more than $1,500

What output size are you looking at? Do you need to do 11x17? If you're just looking at letter/legal I'd suggest getting the Dell 3100CN. Its a network ready color laser that should do 1K a month easily. It dipped down to under $300 this week too (dunno if you can still get it for that price). Anyway, I do about 400 pages a month on mine and have been very happy with it so far.

Another deciding factor is if you need auto-duplexing, the 3100cn can do it with an optional $250 attachment

Start about $399 but have 35,000 page monthly duty. Comes with 1500 page carts but also can get 4500 page carts.
