Hi all.....

This may sound a little dumb, I have just read that the Asus P4T533C motherboard is a 1.5v only AGP Board, I have just got my Gigagyte 9700Pro, and am getting the rest of my components next week, does this mean that by hooking up the extra power supply to the card, that the Motherboard I was ordering won't work with it!?

I have a feeling that it still will work, and that some older AGP cards pulled more voltage through the AGP port, I'd just like to read this to put my mind at rest!

Please tell me if my theory/memory is correct....

Thanks

Your setup will work. You will be running the 9700 pro in AGP4x mode, so it will run in 1.5v mode. This card works great in this mobo. I had this setup until I moved to a sis648 chipset in agp8x mode. Enjoy!!!!!!

I have a P4T533-C with a Radeon 9700pro and it works great. I do get a few lock ups and once when exiting a game, it rebooted. However it is a beta test version of a game.

might want to change your title. Mods don't like cussing, especially in thread titles.
