i have a new line of sugar ants in the house and i just noticed that when you crush them with your fingers they smell heinous. its almost a chemical smell. anyone know why? i was thinking its most likely a defensive mechanism.

horrible.. one time they got to my food, and ewww, they were like little packets of spicy-ish disgusting taste that lingered.

Switch to a spray bottle full of water and a little dish soap.
