Sufficient Wattage

Im putting together a new game centric build, I want to crossfire/sli in the future, and the PSU Ive been pining for is the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151111

Will 860W be enough for a crossfire/sli build, or will I need to splurge for the 1000W one?

For 2 GPUs, 860W is plenty. Could go lower depending on the particular GPUs as well as the other system specs, OCing, etc.

That's also a lot for that many watts. I'm very happy with my 850W XFX which cost almost $100 less than that PSU.

I mentioned this in another thread. You can go to cyberpower's website and "build" your rig. On the left they have a PS meter. Try putting what you want in the rig (or may eventually want) and the PS meter will either stay green (good), turn yellow (suspect), or red (underpowered).
