Suddenly, No postup on my p3b-f box--would sure appreicate help!

Hi all,

I've spent 2 days getting a new p3b-f box up and built. It's been working great, until the last set of tests. Now, when I turn it on, it spins up like it's getting ready to give the POST beep, but never gets there. No error beeps, no video out, no nothing.

I tried swapping CPUs, and letting it sit off for a while--no help. The only thing I did between the last time it worked and now was connect a optical cable to the SBLive in it.

Any ideas? I would sure appreicate any help!

i'll say what always works for me (with rare exceptions)

1) clear CMOS

2) if you don't know how to clear CMOS, take battery out for 15 minutes or so. althought asus usually has instructions on their website for clearing bios

3)still nothing? take EVERY cable off (IDE AND power), reseat processor, and rebuild the whole system...also, take out every card except the video card.

Also consider that you might try replacing the power supply, or the mobo. You could have a bunk mobo.
