Sudden "Keyboard Not Detected" Error. Advice?

Mem: 2 gb DDR 400
Keyboard: Logitech G15

Woke up this morning and booted find. But I get a "no keyboard dectected" error. The usb interface is secure from the keyboard.

Tried:

* Removing and then re-inserting. X
* Moving to a different USB port X
* Rebooting X
* Trying two other USB keyboards X
* Fitting an adapter and trying the serial port X

Nothing I'm trying is detecting any keyboard. The keyboard will not work at all. This was a "sudden" event. Computer worked fine yesterday. This morning "no keyboard detected." Everything else seems to be working. The "lights" on other usb devices are lighting. Drives and devices are listed. Just a variety of keyboards won't work in any USB ports or the serial port. I'm stumped.

Any other advice?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try this. Go into Device Manager, uninstall the keyboard and reboot. Hopefully Windows will reinstall it properly. Worth a try.

I have that same board and I get the error sometimes. I think mine is due to the fact of my 330w power supply, but what I have to do is actually unplug the computer for about 20 seconds, then plug the keyboard back in. Works fine for a month or so then I have to do the same thing again.

I turned off the computer and disconnected everything. Then I just connected the power, monitor and keyboard only. Turned it on and it booted and detected the keyboard. Then I added the remaining devices and it seeems to work now.

How odd.
