The reviews don't look good
"Big Bounce" - bad reviews that basically say that at least the actors got a vacation in Hawaii, but no vacation for us.
"You got Served" - a big steaming pile of shiiiiiiii take mushrooms. The dancing is neat but that won't make a movie.
"The Perfect Score" - two words. bore ring. My score was a 1240, not too shabby.
The ones that are still playing, meh.
Has anyone seen "The House of Sand and Fog"? I haven't heard anyone except the critics seeing it. Are there any others? I got spoiled last weekend at Nevermore Film Festival. I saw Bubba Hotep, The American Astronaut, I'll Bury You Tomorrow, Lethal Dose, Octane, and Monster Man (of which the last 20 minutes made up for the rest of the film).
And for you NCers who missed the sold out premiere of Bubba Hotep last Saturday the Carolina theatre will show the movie for a one week run (perhaps even longer) starting this Friday, January 30th! Showtimes are nightly at 7:20pm and 9:20pm, with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:20pm and 4:20pm.
