Sucky MacSuck Suck

I have to get up at the ass crack of early tomorrow and register for school. There's going to be a big ordeal because my counsellors don't like to change your schedule and I want to switch from Informal Geometry to Algebra 2. They want all sophmores to take Geometry because it's on our state test sophmore year...but I really don't care aobut my state test. I care about the information I'm actually learning. And it seems more logical to go from algebra 1 to algebra 2 than to go from algebra 1 to geometry and then to algebra 2. But that's just me. And if they won't let me go into Algebra 2, then I still don't want to take informal Geometry, I want to take formal. So I'm gonna have to fight my counsellors and get them to change my schedule all at the crack of 7:30am, and I haven't even gotten up earlier than noon in 3 months. I've heard from the people who registered today and yesterday that it took them like 3 hours just to get their schedules and that was WITHOUT the shedule changes. I hope I can get out in time for my hair appointment at 11. Gahh...

Update

I just got back from damn registration. I went there at 7:30am. Rolled out of bed and went...didn't do anything with my hair or anything. I really don't care what I look like on my ID. Got there and stood in line forever to get a locker and recieve my schedule. It was completely wrong. I was missing concert band, and I can't take Jazz band and Journalism because they take place during the same hour. And I needed to switch my math class, which I already knew. So I went to the counselling center to see what we could do. The only thing we even fixed was my math class (I'm taking Algebra 2) and they just left all the rest the same and said I'd have to talk to my band teacher and my Journalism teacher to see what we can do when school starts. ARRRG! I'm angry. I spent 3 hours there and I don't even have a schedule! I think I'm going to cut all my hair off at my hair appointment...just because I'm angry!

I remember taking Algebra 2 after Geometry. Don't remember having to register for classes in high school. We just signed up for what we wanted/had to take the year before. You went the first day and they gave you your class schedule.

College is the only time I've had to wait in lines to register for a class.

highschool...yes, i'm a teeny bopper. so sue me. my parents should have concieved me sooner after their mariage and then i wouldn't be in highschool now! 😱

Missouri...and considering that I'm not sure what you're talking about, I'm going to answer with No. I hope that's the right answer😀😛

Talking about IMP? I fricking hated IMP. Integrated Mathematical Principles class. Horrible way to learn math in my opinion. I fricking hated algebra but geometry was wonderful.

IMP needs to Die In a Fire. Seriously. That is the most backwards way to teach people math. Stupid California hippy teachers :| I never actually took it, when I transfered to a school that had it, I was already in College alg. but I remember being confused as hell trying to help my friends. None of that sh1t makes any sense.

How did the name "Tina" and "11 o clock hair appointment" slip by?

Well, good thing you're stupid. All the schools I've ever heard of go Alg 1, Geo, Alg 2, so stop bitching and just deal with it. Geometry is an easy class anyway. So is Algebra 2, but I don't see any advantage of taking it before Geometry. Just save yourself some time tomorrow and take Geometry.

Edit: I should apologize and explain that I'm pissed because 1) I picked up my schedule today and for the second year in a row things got fux0red so I can't get all the academic classes I want and 2) I had a temporary crown put on and if you've never had one then imagine having a covering put over a tooth and you just want to rip it off but you know you can't. It's not pain so much as just discomfort.

Actually, my name isn't Tina. It's Madison. My brother (who happens to be Gerbil333) calls me Tina after the llama in Napoleon Dynamite. He started calling me to dinner by saying, "Tina, come get your ham!" and it just sort of wore off and now everyone calls me Tina (including my mother).

annnddd...
Lots of pics! 😀

meh...no need to appologize. unfortunately, though, no matter what i do i'm going to have to change my schedule. i'm signed up for informal geo right now and i want to take formal. and i'm aware that they are easy classes...but math is not my strong subject, and you have to take easy classes before you can attempt the more difficult ones 😉
