Sucks to remember why I've been using a PCI video card after buying a new AGP video card...

I got a radeon 9100 earlier today. Much faster than my old radeon 7000 PCI card. But I was getting random lockups...

I jsut remembered why I've been using a PCI video card.... I briefly had a Radeon 8500LE in here..... But I killed it. I accidentally knocked it out out of the slot while the machine was running. Video card was dead and never worked again. I jsut now realized that the AGP slot was also damaged. One of the conductors in it is nicely blackened.... No wonder my new AGP card was casung lockups...

Now I need a new mobo, too 😱

Now I just need to pick a motherboard.... Something i can buy at Fry's CompUSA or Best Buy would be nice, cause I want to be able to make it work tomorrow 🙂
