I'm sure it's been asked before, but which is better? I have some of each.

I think it really depends on the design of the heatsink. They are usually designed for either one or the other, and I don't think that it has ever been established that one design concept is better than the other.

Depends on the heatsink. Follow the manufacturer's recommendation. The Swiftechs are almost always "suck" heatsinks (particularly the kinds with "pins")... but I think all Thermalrights are blow. (man, this topic is going to degrade in a hurry because of the terminology).

would you rather have a fan blow on you when your sweaty, or stand behind the fan and have it suck the hot air off you...

That is correct. Alpha's also like to suck air.

That's different... kinda. In a case of a hot person, there's moisture involved. CPUs don't sweat :)

But I'd blow... wait, that doesn't sound right :p

My Aero 7 Lite is all blow, all the time. And with a turn of the knob, I can make it blow as hard as I want when things get really hot.

I would assume suck to get the hot air out of there ASAP while cooler air moves into replace the now sucked out air.
