I have never seen, or know anyone who has seen a cockroach outside a glass cage/aquarium.

One advantage to living in certain areas of Canada. They can't survive freezing temperatures.

OP, you sure that is the same roach showing up again? usually when you see one roach, that usually means there are more.

yes, yes they do and it's one of the scariest things you will ever witness.

After this half dead one crawled away, I haven't seen any more. Considering I had been seeing this one over and over, I'm pretty sure its the same one. At least I choose to believe that for my own piece of mind.

like shakespeare says...."Ignorance is bliss".

Yep ... you know what they say: "if you've seen one..."

Ah, the cockroach, a foe I've become all too familiar with being an apartment renter. They can be resilient little bastards. Just hope it doesn't get to the point where you can see them crawling on your ceiling above your bed. I've also been woken up by one crawling across my chest while I was sleeping on the couch. I keep my place really fucking clean, too. Even getting pest control to spray cupboards/baseboards doesn't really work when the building itself is infested. Curse the summer months that are comming :(

This is why I would never live in an apartment again. You can be the cleanest person in the world. But if your neighbors are slobs, you have roaches.
