I have just successfully overclocked my 4400+ to 2.6GHz on my DFI Lanparty CFX3200-DR ( 260*10 - 1.475V - HTT*4) with DDR at DDR520.
The success of this overclock was down to 2 things, updating the bios and using DDR500 compatible ram. I'm currently using Mushkin XP4000 Redline EXTREME as you don't need to mess with the DRAM voltage.
I have been running 2 prime95's (1 on each core for the last 12 hours without the CPU going above 38c using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro.
I did get this baby up to 2.75GHz not going above 40c but the second core kept on failing after 5mins. The max I can get my voltage up to is 1.55, do you think I need more juice to getting it running stably? If I do, will the special VID % control take it past 1.55V or do I need a voltage mod?
Cheers
