I don't understand why anyone would have a hard time with that either. Let the punishment fit the crime, if you steal pay it back, etc.

Supreme Court Affirms Stringent 'Three Strikes' Law
  • The rulings were bad news for Gary A. Ewing, the golf-club thief who will not be eligible for parole consideration for 25 years, and for Leandro Andrade, who is to languish behind bars for 50 years as the result of his latest transgression: taking videotapes from Kmart stores on two occasions.

Yeah those violent video tape stealing criminals should all just get the chair. Especially if they stole any movies starring Vin Diesel. Cheating that superb actor out of his royalties.
 
People always want what happened to them as children to hapopen to everybody they grow up projecting their own self hate on. It's how we are, asleep.
