I oc'd yesterday from the base clock to 3.6 ghz. All I changed was the bclk to 180 and that was it. Booted into windows fine, raided Ulduar in WoW for 6 hours or so....not a hitch.

I come back to my pc this morning, try to get out of hibernate...and my monitor claims there is no signal...weird. So I rebooted, then it said something about OC failing.

So I changed it back to the automatic settings and all is fine. Does OCing require turning off hibernation?

pc specs:

core i7 920 (C0 model)
asus p6 v2 deluxe
6 GB OCZ Platinum
Geforce 260GT

6 hours of wow != Stable OC.

Get OCCT/Linpack/Prime95 and actually test your OC.

My p6t deluxe v2 wouldn't sleep OC'd until the latest bios update (0504), which fixed the issue. So, if you haven't updated, please do so. It's so much nicer when you come back to your computer and it isn't stuck in "zombie mode" when you wake it.
