Formatted and reinstalled windows, and all drivers! All in less than 30 minutes. AND I GOT MY SOUNDCARD TO FINALLY WORK!! (if you only knew how much frustration that's presented over the past few days, and the hours of sleep lost to it)
Now, for all those critical windows updates... ughhhh I wish I could save them to my backup hard drives...


(well, the 30 minutes doesn't include the 25 hours I spent trying to get my sound card to work before I reformatted for the 5th time and started a new install, with drivers installed in yet another different order..... darn Via chipset and soundblaster live semi-incompatibity)

Next, redoing the network..

I did that. Except I did it before I installed the driver hack for my softmodable 9500 np. Then I found out for some reason the XP doesn't like you trying to apply the hack with SP1 installed. Hello useless ghost image
