Success of Bluetooth headsets and PC communication?

Yesterday I bought a Bluetake USB Bluetooth dongle, which has support for headsets. I also bought a Jabra BT500 to use with my cellphone and PC.

So far I've found out:

¤ Disable M$ Bluetooth driver
¤ Install Widcomm drivers, if possible
¤ Change software settings to use bluetooth as headset and mic

I've read success stories of people using BT headsets with their PC. Has anyone here done it successfully? Any tips you could give me?

The dongle arrived today, but I wont have the headset to play around with until early next week.
