Succesfully overclocking a Projector to 120Hz, is it possible?

Buying a projector soon and was thinking of trying to overclock the refresh rate to 120Hz using the custom resolutions utility on my computer. Has anyone tried this? I wonder if 120hz at 1080p is possible as the projector only has HDMI 1.4
