So I have 2 12in. Infinity subs in my trunk which are facing the rear of the car. I have A LOT of rattle in my trunk. Has anyone faced their subs toward the driver with their back seat down? I would imagine it would sound better and create less rattle in the trunk. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks!

I dont know if you can do anything about the rattling being hear from the outside.

my stock subs that came factory, rattle on the outside too. They are like 2 5-6" subs.

I have 2 Infinity 10" subs in the trunk now and it rattles. I don't even have a trunk really. I have an SUV and the trunk is more like an empty third row.

Bass is omni directional. At the level you're running them, you're simply vibrating the body panels and parts . Without something to dampen those vibrations at the offending location, you could point them in any direction without any positive effect.
