Subwoofer question...

I am installing my old subwoofer into a new car, but I forget how I had it setup then.

It is a Diamond Audio 12" DVC, 2 Ohm.

The amp is only 4 Ohm stable. Do I hook it up as shown in this picture: Here ya go. (It's ghey I know)

That would put the 2 Voice Coils into series, making it 4 Ohms, correct?

If that drawing is correct, does it matter with posts I jumper, versus which posts I take to the amp?

Yes and no.
Yes its correct, no it doesnt matter which run to the amp. Although, you will want to play it for a while, then swap the + and - and play for a while to make sure you have the correct polarity on the sub.
 
Just wanna get one more opinion before I set it up tonight. Can anyone else "second" that opinion? 😀
