Subwoofer Install in tight space

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 Crew Cab, and I need some suggestions for installing a pair of Infinity 12d VQ subs in it. They're 7 inches tall and will not fit under the seats. I've heard of seat lifts, would this be a possiblity? And does anyone have any other kinds of suggestions for me?

Worst case, anyone interested in a pair of Infinity 12's?

check a forum specific to the f150 trucks. They will be plenty more knowledgeable than the few decent opinions here.

Look at Rockford or JL. They might have a custom fit box for that truck. They may or may not accomadate your Kappas but they work fairly well and are almost invisible when installed.

So you guys think I should pull out the 60 split side of the rear seats and throw a big box in there?
Any other suggestions?

If you don't need the seats, you could upholster a box to replace the seat. If you have the subs front or down firing, you can still store/haul things on top of the box.

I unfortunately do use the seats alot. So right now it's between lifting the rear seats and selling for something smaller.... :-\
