Subwoofer for 2000 Toyota Celica

What subwoofer and amp should I get for my 2000 Toyota Celica (silver) ? My price range is around $200 all together but I am willing to go up to $300. Is it worth it or should I save up some more money?

Yeah, you'd probably improve your sound a lot more with a pair of front speakers.

Go to E b a y and buy the following(look for sellers with many good ratings):

PROFILE CALIFORNIA AP1000 amp, just search for AP1000. ~$120 shipped. I have one and it works fine. Run it in bridged mode.
Alpine SWR-1022D (TYPE R) Dual 2 ohms Type-R 10" Subwoofer. ~$105-115 shipped. Wire it to 4ohm

As for the box either build it yourself or have Mobileman @ http://www.caraudioforum.com/v...showthread.php?t=17579 build you one. He does good work and the prices are fair. Make sure whether you build it or he does that you get a vented box.
