Have decided I want to get a couple more years out of my 2006 F150 Supercab with 110K miles.. radio and door speakers were replaced last yeat, and a small part of me want so relive the early 90s...

but realistically I can't put four 15" in the backseat. I can, however get a box and put a ten inch sub under the rear seat and mount a small 100 or 200w amp on the other side. (Yes, I know it's ghetto to run coxials off the head unit and have the only amp pushing the sub, what can I tell you?)

There's an ebay seller, Rodneys Boxes, that has good feedback and OK prices, has anyone here ever used one of his? Or does anybody have a box maker they would recommend? I'm over an hour's drive from any shop I could easily go by, it's gonna have to be an online pre-fab. MTX makes a box, but if I wanted to spend that much ($550) on the box and driver alone, I'd drive to a sound shop.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions?

EDIT: 9/3/2015....Not going to bump this thread just for this info, BUT if anyone ever searches for it...

got a single 12" box from Rodney's Boxes on ebay with a Kicker comp rt 40CWRT121 sub wired in series for 1 1 ohm load. Hooked it up to a Rockford Fosgate r500x1d amp and it gets louder than I would ever want to listen. Recommend the amp, the sub and the box builder.

Have you amped the door speakers? F150 with decent replacement 6x8's all around and an amp pushing >60 watts each will produce some very respectable sound.

BONUS: you still get to use your tiny back seat as a seat.
