I sometimes eat Taco Bell and the controversy about their "beef" bothers me not one whit because I happen to like the taste and convenience they offer at their "bottom of the barrel" price point.

I also don't care about this Subway news, because their sandwiches suck either and any way. Subway is pathetic on all levels.
 
Asterisks should be illegal when it comes to advertising, especially food. Sell it as Roast Beef* when it is actually turkey byproduct is ok just because it has an asterisk? Hell no.

But subway blows for many better reasons anyway.
 
I didn't know that. I'm not really a fan of turkey but their roast beef tastes okay. I used to get it when I was a kid but not really anymore.

Asterisks should not be a free pass on lying, especially for food products.

Why are you talking out of your arse and disparaging a restaurant when you don't know what you're talking about? Where did you even get this idea? Like others here I checked the menu and the roast beef is just what it says... roast beef.
