Subway's Atkins wrap

Lager

Diamond Member
These things are so small, I can finish each half with one bite. What a ripoff.

I'm sick and tired of low carb stuff.

How do I eat low carb at school? People would think you're weird.

You know what's good? Get a chipotle steak and cheese in a wrap. It's damn good, and I don't even like subway usually. That southwest sauce is awesome. I need to buy a bottle of it.

that is why i usually eat 2 atkins wraps, plus a bag of lays, and then a peanut butter and sugar cookie, fills me right up

Don't forget to wash it all down with a super-sized coke! 🙂

Just because it's low carb doesn't mean you can gorge yourself. If you are still hungry, have an apple with some peanut butter or cheese cubes or carrot sticks, etc.

Would you have rather have people think that you're weird (your supposition) or know that you are fat?

LOL, I love Subway's "Atkins math" too:

21 g carbohydrates - 10 g fiber = 11 g net carbs

Is this part of the Atkins diet, or is something the Subway marketing team devised?

thats part of the diet.

Amazingly enough, the wraps are like 11pts each on the Weight Watcher's scale according to my friend. She says the average 6" sub from the low fat selection is like 6 pts. A blooming onion at Outback is like 70...

That is legit for atkins, fiber carbs don't count. However, 10 or 11 net carbs is hardly "low". You are only allowed 20 net carbs per day on induction, so one wrap burns half your budget.

Fiber is a carbohydrate but it isn't digestible and therefore doesn't impact your blood sugar. Hence, you subtract it from the total number of carbohydrates.

I got one when they first were introduced, they were pretty small and the lady have the nerve to cut it in half. weak

I went to another location and the guy ahead me ordered and it was much bigger than the one I bought. I guess they still have some tweaking left to do.

😕

For frig's sake eat less and excercise more. This country will be fatter 10 years from now than it is now (I know, it's hard to believe). Atkins isn't doing jack squat, because until people realize that the magic bullet is eat less + excercise more, they're going to continue to fatten up like little porkers ready to be served up for thanksgiving dinner.

All this low carb stuff works long term for about .000000034% of people who try it. They got fat by being lazy and lacking willpower, and staying on Atkins requires effort, so they fall off the bandwagon and find themselves once again putting down a whole 2L bottle of coke and pizza and blaming it on their cortisol levels.

Yeah, i tried one about a month ago... it was terrible. They heated it up with all the veggies still in there and it tasted nasty. I finished the whole wrap in one bite.
