Subway coupon question

Local subway has been giving out coupons.

the one for this week is:

buy any regular footlong sub for only $3.99 with the purchase of a 21 oz. drink.

is the 21 oz. drink the regular size you get with the combo meals? how much money does this save?

3.99 + cost of drink can't be much cheaper than buying the actual combo meal ad getting chips or cookies with it, can it?

Foot long chicken parmigian sub + chips and drink = $8.68 at the subway down the street from me as of yesterday. $3.99 sub + $.99 drink is a good deal, just don;t get the veggie d-light.

I've never heard of a 21oz drink. Usually cups are 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, 32oz, 40oz... Were the coupons printed in Nigeria by any chance?

21oz is the standard medium size that comes with a combo

i had subway today. buy 1 6 inch sub get one free coupon. total cost 4.25. everytime i have lunch there the girl gives me another coupon.

yep got another one today too. its actually more like a little booklet of coupons.

next week is

get a regular 6 inch sub for $.99 when you buy a regular 6 inch sub and a 21 oz. drink.
