I have a Korean movie with an SRT subfile that is definitely out of sync, or not at the same speed, or both. It never seems to stay lined up for longer than a few seconds. Not understanding the language at all doesn't help.
Is there a way to check if its actually aligned? Does the media player used have any effect on this? I can line it up for a few sentences and then it falls behind... so I speed it up a little and its completely out of whack a minute later. Really frustrating...
Edit-- after 30 mins of searching I found eng subs to the same exact file... was using the DVD release before. Working now..
