Subtitles for DiVX...how come it doesn't work?

The video plays perfectly, and subs used to work perfectly before too, but now they don't show up at all. I have DiVX 5.02 installed...what's wrong?

And did you include subtitles to be moved to the DivX file?

Yup same folder. both .srt and .sub don't work for xvid and divx...sorry about the wrong forum.

Whether or not they display will depend on what program you are using as a media player, and whether you have installed the right "extras" for subtitle display. Have you installed VobSub?

Oh yes, the good old days of DivX and subtitles. DVD's the way to go now.
