Well , during my necessity for Dental Inplant which cost $1700/toolth + $1370 special crown! I have found this place will benifit to all of us who live in USA. It is too good to be true!
This is a supplimental or cost reduction program. For only $24/year memberships you can get filling/Amalgam for $48 if you have dental insurance it is FREE.
The one I like to join is the Dental implant http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/implanthome.asp
Since I already have dental insurance I only need to pay $100/member /annual
My insurrance Delta PPO will not pay for implant.
'The Single Tooth Implant Placement (Root Form) (each)' cost $1700 --- My dental surgery give me this prize
With the member I only need to pay $1050 (see http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/implantcalifornia.asp?product=13 )
For the 'Porcelain-Metal Implant Crowns (incl. abutment) (each)' $1370 -- My oral dental doctor want this price
With the member I only pay $700 (see http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/implantcalifornia.asp?product=13 )

Is this place www.dentalplans.com a SCAM??? If not I am sure it is a VERY GOOD deal. May be some of you is using them and can give us pro and cons!!!

Want cheap dental work? Go to a dental school if you live near one. Cost is usually 50 percent off private practice prices. Only caveat is that you must allot about 4 hours for each appointment. Most routine work will usually be done by 3rd or 4th years; post-docs do more difficult procedures. If you want even cheaper dental work, become a dental student yourself and get a discount on top the cheap prices (probably varies by school).

BTW, why does everything look italicized on my mac and not my PC?

One of my friends went to Jamiaca and got his tooth implanted and cost him
approx 300USD.

A little OT.
I can't believe how expensive the dental work is here in US.
I need to have some dental work down last year, US dental firm quote me for about $5000 per total job. After insurance kick in, I still have to pay close to 3K. I took some time off to Taiwan (my home country) for a exam and little vacation. it cost me total of $2000 for dental work and nice vacation as well.
My friend who was dentist in China don't even make $5000 USD a year.
He told me it would cost way less then $1000 for the best quility work in best hospital in China.
Never been there, so I can't comfirm.
I have to say, US's health care cost is way too HIGH.

I'll be a dentist in 3 or so years. Note to self: huge potential patient base.
