i think it is possible that i have this trojan, how can i fix this?
can i just re-install my OS system? or are other files infected?

According to what I've read, SubSeven 2.2 runs (for the first time they say) well on WinME and Win2000.

Yes you can, but if you looka little harder on the symantec site, it should have instructions to properly delete it without formatting. I know cause I once had it too.
